October 21: Board your Amtrak Sleeper Car accommodations in Carbondale, IL! Depart Carbondale at 1:26AM and arrive in New Orleans at 3:32PM rested and ready to explore and enjoy fabulous New Orleans! Check-in to your hotel and get ready for a memorable welcome dinner and famous New Orleans Jazz!
October 22: This morning enjoy breakfast before departing for your N’Awlins City Tour! Today take a guided tour of the Ursuline Convent and St. Louis Cathedral cemeteries. Enjoy a guided tour that is the Crescent City: past, present and future. Enjoy your evening at your leisure to explore this great city!
October 23: After Breakfast, experience a breath-taking two hour narrated swamp tour. Enjoy a Cajun style lunch before heading to a narrated plantation visit. This evening is yours to spend at your leisure.
October 24: This Sunday attend Mass at St. Augustine Church for a special Jazz Mass. This afternoon enjoy a tour of the Treme neighborhood to include Congo Square, and a Drumming and dance exhibit! Farewell Dinner Tonight!
October 25: After Breakfast enjoy the morning on your own before check-out and transfers to Amtrak. The train departs at 1:45PM. Rest comfortably in your sleeper car before arriving back in Carbondale at 3:11AM.
